I was just sitting here thinking about how much I have learned since I started marketing online in 1996. There is a wealth of information out there for anyone to utilize. Through all the research and all the programs I have joined, I have come to the conclusion that anyone can make money online.

I do not understand why it is so hard when others make it seems so easy. Then I went through thousands of ideas and rushed on each bandwagon that came along. Eventually I found myself still in the same rut as always. Making very little, in fact what I made was enough to fill the tank of my van for the week.

Now that is where I have found the problem. So many of us try so hard to make it to the top online. Just like the starry eyed young adults who go to California looking to make their dreams come true on the big screen. Yet just like them we struggle and wonder why nothing has worked.

I have looked up to so many top gurus and yet had the door slammed in my face when trying to contact them. If that is what happens when you make it big online, I am not too sure that I want to be like them. Infact I know I don’t. They have forgotten the one cardinal rule about marketing online… customer connection.

I am making some decent money online, not as much as the big gurus are but it pretty good. I am not a guru but I know what I am talking about when it comes to marketing online. However I will not leave or be rude to any of my customers or friends. My customers are my friends and you should never treat them like the plague.

If you don’t have time anymore to connect with your fans, or your customers then how do you have the freedom to claim yourself as a guru? To me it seems like all they want to do is make friends and connect with you until they get your money then they shut the doors and act like you aren’t there anymore.

That will not happen when I make my first million. Or mega millions, in the future. I will always connect with you, no matter what.
