Thank you. I did use the wordpress backup but when it emailed it to me there was nothing in the sql. I reinstalled all the plugins again so hopefully it will work this time. However I did learn that you can backup through your database itself too. Must remember to do that as well. Thanks for the tip on Google I never though about that. I will be heading there right now. Just setup a gmail account and filter and you're all set for a hassle-free backup. Also, check out my list of nine essential wordpress plugins. It's geared towards new bloggers but you should find a few other gems on there. Also, if you haven't already then sign up for a Google webmaster account so you can see any 404 errors from links pointing to your old posts and redirect them to your blog home page so you don't lose that precious Google link juice!
