I was trying to add a forum and lost everything.
On the plus side… we are starting with a fresh clean slate.
You must always try to find the silver lining and I believe that is it.
If you feel the need to rant as well you are most welcome to.

I need your imput, since I have to start all over again from scratch, what topics would you like to see covered here? Remember it has to be in the subject area of making money online.

Ouch, that really sucks.
First step, please install wordpress database backup! It will automatically e-mail you a copy of your database once a day (or once a week) so in the future if you break something you can revert back to the latest backup. Just setup a gmail account and filter and you’re all set for a hassle-free backup.
Also, check out my list of nine essential wordpress plugins. It’s geared towards new bloggers but you should find a few other gems on there.
Also, if you haven’t already then sign up for a Google webmaster account so you can see any 404 errors from links pointing to your old posts and redirect them to your blog home page so you don’t lose that precious Google link juice!

WOW! Thank you. I did use the wordpress backup but when it emailed it to me there was nothing in the sql. I reinstalled all the plugins again so hopefully it will work this time. However I did learn that you can backup through your database itself too. Must remember to do that as well. Thanks for the tip on Google I never though about that. I will be heading there right now.
