A chain of restaurants called Chick-Fil-A, is giving away free chicken meals to cows. Ok, well customers dressed as cows.

Their word of mouth and community outreach has people coming into the stores dressed as cows to get free chicken. What a concept.

At a time when their competitors are struggling, this chain has gone back to the basics.

Today, this chain of restaurants is holding its 5^th annual “Cow Appreciation Day”. Those dressed in full cow attire get a free meal – an entrée, choice of side dish, and a drink – but for those less risky who only show up with a cow printed shirt or accessory will have to settle for just the entrée.

This attempt to get more people to eat chicken has got to be the funniest ever, having cows asking to eat chicken. What a very smart back-to-the-basics publicity move.
